Serie A News

Ongoing racism irks Balotelli.

Mario Balotelli says he is angered by the slow progress being made in ridding football of racism.
Balotelli has repeatedly been the subject of racial abuse since making the switch to Serie A giants AC Milan from Manchester City in January.
The Italian international's former club Inter have twice been fined after fans sang racist chants about Balotelli, first in a match against Chievo and then during the Milan derby.

Savic points Jovetic toward Manchester.

Montenegro defender Stefan Savic believes Stevan Jovetic, his team-mate for club and country, should join Manchester City.
Roberto Mancini's side secured a first option deal on Jovetic in Matija Nastasic's transfer from Fiorentina
and former City defender Savic thinks his compatriot is good enough to make a move to one of Europe's top clubs, urging him to choose City. "Jovetic can play for one of the top clubs," Savic said. "I hope he does because he is one of my closest friends.
"I would recommend City to him. I think City's a rising team, one of the best clubs in Europe. They will win trophies and be in the Champions League every year.
