Bundesliga news

Mourinho watches Dortmund flex muscles.

Fürth - Under the gaze of Real Madrid CF coach Jose Mourinho, Borussia Dortmund sent out a fresh warning to the Spanish heavyweights, should it be required, that their upcoming UEFA Champions League semi-final encounter is going to be an equally tough assignment for both parties.
A 6-1 demolition of Greuther Fürth also further cemented Dortmund’s second place in a Bundesliga dominated by FC Bayern Munich, and it would have given the visiting Merengues boss - who left with Dortmund cruising at 5-0 - plenty to ponder.

Treble in sight for Bayern.

Munich - FC Bayern Munich booked their place in the final of the DFB Cup for the fourth time in the last five seasons with a thumping 6-1 victory over a spirited but ultimately outclassed VfL Wolfsburg at the Allianz Arena.
Mario Gomez came off the bench to chip in with a hat-trick, after Mario Mandzukic and Arjen Robben had scored for the Reds in the first half, Xherdan Shaqiri adding a third soon after the restart. Diego’s thunderous effort on the stroke of half time was a small consolation for the visitors.
