Bayern dig in to clinch 22nd Bundesliga title

Frankfurt - The record titleholders wrapped up their 23rd German Championship and 22nd Bundesliga title in record time, but it was far from straight-forward as FC Bayern Munich were forced to work hard for their narrow 1-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Eagles' resiliency was to be admired, but in the end Bastian Schweinsteiger's sublime finish in the second half proved to be the winner as Bayern maintained their 20-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga with just 18 points left to play for.

Dortmund eyeing last-four berth

Dortmund - Borussia Dortmund will be looking to complete the first part of what could be a Bundesliga double act in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League when they play host to Malaga CF on Tuesday evening (kick-off 20:45 CEST).
A 0-0 draw from the first leg in Spain stands the dislodged Bundesliga champions in good stead for the second leg at the Signal Iduna Park, and leaves the prospect of an all-German final still very much alive.
